Partying for cause
The first annual HBCU Labor Day Classic Greek Stroll Off & After Party, is a new event for the Atlanta Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Big HBCU Labor Day Classic Battle of the Bands in Charlotte, North Carolina. Proceeds from the event will support the Golden Baton Scholarship Initiative, which provides scholarships for members of high school and collegiate bands. The HBCU Labor Day Classic Greek Stroll Off & After Party is intended to be an HBCU family reunion for students, alumni, and friends. As part of the event a Greek Stroll Off Competition will be held, in which HBCU Greek Lettered organizations will go head-to-head with their best strolls, and the winning male and female team will be awarded a monetary prize. All college and university band members, organizations, and friends are invited to attend.
